Democracy v Psychology

A piece in today’s Guardian newspaper provides a pointed reminder of how basic aspects of relational psychology effect democratic processes. The Dunning-Kruget effect, goal orientation and Parkinson’s law of triviality all introduce bias and distortion into the process of democratically electing our representative to parliament.
